GOURDS
Working with natural gourds from the local area, these are hand-cleaned and then embellished in a variety of ways with GSD and other motifs to make exceptionally unique artworks. Many techniques are used such as painting, staining, carving, reverse carving, lacing, silhouetteing, etc and incorporate many textures and accents.
The apple gourds are actually apple-shaped and paint the in shades of real apples.
The feathered gourds are feathered with real turkey and exotic chicken feathers gathered without any harm to the fowl
Prices vary with size and intricacy of the finished product.
